Spring in Alaska
No thoughts on suicide so I decided to delete that topic and post other things happening in Alaska. The suicide and why topic is something that I would like to hear about from others to future posting. If you have something to say about that, please feel free to say it here.
I did a few changes and made the site happier to look at. I had a black site the day I started the blog because that day I was so burdened with the ones that commit suicide that it spilled over into the background template I chose.
Today... I want to change the subject to sharing Alaska!
I love Alaska, it is so beautiful and I don't want to ever move away. I will visit other places, but I want to always be able to come 'HOME' to Alaska. I love Alaska and it's springtime now.... new growth, new ideas, new thoughts.
I was the fourth of ten children and was born in Old Harbor on Kodiak Island.
I married when I was 20 years old and have been married to Doug for 32 years in September this year! He is the best!
We were blessed with the twins, Karolyn Marie and Karla Mae, right off the bat and I was busy for years and years later as I carried, birthed, nursed, cared for, played with them and Kimberly May, Klinton Douglas and Kristopher David all born by the time I was 28 years old.
News? What news, I did not follow news, movies, music... for years... I was so busy following kids!
But I loved being a Momma.
Anyway, I wanted to show off some pictures of Alaska now and then and also share events happening around me!
Blogging is new to me and I think it will be fun to share my corner of Alaska.
