SMILE!

Not sure how Bebo video will work here (please work). I wanted to show this video that makes me so happy. "Leah" singing her heart out!

Doug and I were talking and decided we want to spend Sunday nights singing with the family. (Our church does not have a Sunday evening service, our church has small groups.) Last night we started our singing time together! The only ones able to make it on such short notice was Karla and her four children and Klinton, besides Doug, Kris and myself.

So Doug, Kris and when Klint finally showed up played guitar and we sang. I loved it.

I hope someday to get video of our grandchildren singing their hearts out in praises to the Lord just like Leah! That makes my whole-self smile!

Oh give thanks to the LORD!
Call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the peoples!
Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him;
Talk of all His wondrous works!
Glory in His holy name;
Let the hearts of those rejoice
who seek the LORD!
Seek the LORD and His strength;
Seek His face evermore!
Remember His marvelous
works which He has done,
His wonders, and the
judgments of His mouth,
O seed of Israel, His servant,
You children of Jacob,
His chosen ones!

He is the LORD our God-

This was part of King David's psalm of thanks to God when they brought the ark of God and set in the midst of the tabernacle that King David had built for it in Jerusalem. They all sang this praise to God. King David gave gifts to the all the people in Israel(!) and they all rejoiced. It must have been an exciting and happy day. Read the rest of this praise in 1 Chronicles 16.

Last night in our little corner of the world, up here in Alaska, we praised Jesus Christ for the wonderful Savior that He is to us.

Oh man, that was so precious! There's nothing like a child's innocence! No wonder you love those grandbabies!

Thanks for making me smile!

I would love to claim Leah for my own granddaughter, but she is not. :-( I found her on Bebo! I love her enthusiasm when she sings!

What a fantastic idea--you've started your own home worship service. PTL!

I thought you might be interested to know that Marriage Monday has a new home. If you're planning to post your marriage wisdom any time this week (open topic) I'd love to have you link up at Chrysalis. Please think about it!

Blessings, e-Mom

You know, it's funny you said that because I was running the names (what I remembered) of your grandkiddos through my head and Leah's didn't seem to fit! Well, now I know why! She is cute though, whomever's grandchild she is!

I'm not able to view it, as I have dial up and it's just too slow. But I love the pics you have of the three little ones on the staircase!

Thanks for visiting my blog and entering my drawing for a copy of my new book releasing the end of this month. To answer your question we lived in Seward for a year, and then owned land on the outskirts of Wasilla for several years...we sold it three years ago when we decided not to move back up there. I've been in your neck of the woods and it's beautiful. Nice to meet another person from Alaska! Miralee

I think you are on to a wonderful idea, Connie, of having a time of singing with the famil!!!! With your group, I'm sure there is a lot of talent. There is nothing like seeing those little ones singing their hearts out to the Lord! Keep us posted and post the singing!! :)

Hi denise, glad you stopped by. :-)

Miralee, We could have been in each others way at the grocery store at one time, who knows! I hope the sale of your new book goes very well.

Jo, nice to hear from you. I heard you were singing away last night too! :-) Doug enjoyed your family's song.
I will sure post if my grandkids will sing like Leah! Right now they just sort of look at me like, do we have to do this Gramma? Hopefully, things will change and they will grow to love it.
