The Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest

We went to see the movie last night and I have to give it my thumbs up! My kids had gone to see Superman last week and all the showings at Century theatre in Anchorage we sold out. We went to Eagle River last night and the theatre was not busy at all, but we were there early, for the 6:25 showing.

The movie is very WET and lots of sea creature type characters. It was fun and a good sequel to the first Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl.

Just thought I would share my thumbs up with you movie goers that have not made it out to see this movie yet. It's fun, might be a bit scary for little, little kids, it made me scream once --- but sometimes a good scream or two helps to keep the ol' heart pumpin!

We saw the movie for Dave's birthday and thoroughly enjoyed it! I like it just as much as the first one and in fact, Charlie went with a friend yestrday and saw it for the 2nd time! We will see it again for sure! Did you stay for all of the credits? If not, you missed a cute little "wrap-up" of one of the characters!

That sounded just like a pirate matey! Read no further if you don't want to know the last 5 seconds of the movie. The very last thing they show after all of the credits have run through, is the dog that was left behind on the island. He's sitting on the throne with a crown on his head and he's got a bone in his mouth will all of the natives standing around him. Yeah, I know, I sat through all of that for a whole 5 second blurb about the dog!
